Frequently asked questions
How do I get there?
The nearest airports are Genoa and Nice. From Genoa it is about 1 h 20 by car, from Nice about 1 h 35. We can arrange a private transfer.
Do I need a car?
Yes, we recommend one. The villa is on the hillside, about 10 minutes by car from the beach and the town. There is private parking for 2 cars and an EV charging point.
Is the pool safe for children?
The infinity pool has a retractable safety cover hidden in the deck. Close it whenever the pool is not in use.
Are there stairs inside?
No. The whole villa is on one level, which makes it easy for grandparents and small children.
How fast is the internet?
Starlink, about 100 Mbit/s, with Wi-Fi 7 mesh across the villa, the terraces and the garden. Good enough for video calls.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes, reversible air conditioning throughout, plus underfloor heating.
Can we stay in winter?
Yes. The house is heated and keeps a mild temperature, and the Riviera is quiet and sunny out of season. Ask us about longer stays.
How do we get to the beach?
It is about 10 minutes by car to the beach and the Budello. A footpath also leads down to Alassio through Solva.
Where are the nearest shops?
Supermarkets, bakeries and the market are in Alassio, below the villa.
